		<description>I hope it is not too forward of me to say that the alternately raucous and fortuitous start to your week has all of the simmering drama of the exposition to an edgy independent film.  Surely, you are right.  It must portend the inevitable unfolding of events of some significance (though I hope for your sake they turn out to be of the madcap, feelgood variety that serious-minded filmmaking artistes sneer at). 

Thank you for regaling your loyal readership with such pithy Monday morning musings.  I give you fair warning that if I ever write a screenplay (one of my many half-assed ambitions) I fully intend to steal the morning you describe for the opening act.  (Will it atone, I wonder, if I invite—nay, insist—that you score said film with a wry, sensitive, and unbearably cool soundtrack upon its completion?)</description>
