The Cold Call

Two enterprising classmates of mine, Reetu Srivastava and Pruthviraj Haral have come up with this super-stud brilliant comic strip which has been appropriately titled ‘The Cold Call‘, which documents life on campus.

Their refreshing cynicism and their bold attempts at highlighting and making fun of all the absurd things that sometimes go on on campus is both funny and insightful to read up on. What they’re doing is to present a veritable mirror to our own lives and are on more than one occasion, responsible for pointing to the class as a whole and saying, “look what we’ve become”.

Most of these jokes would be cracked by B schoolers the world over, though a few of them relevant to peacocks and such like might be understood and appreciated by current and former ISB students only. However, I’m sure Reetu and Pruthvi are going to come up with an annotated version of their strip when it gets commercially successful.

I just hope they don’t sell out. This is one of the most candid and funny things on campus and I look forward eagerly to each strip as it is mailed out. Here’s wishing them good luck and I hope that you, dear reader will enjoy reading The Cold Call as much as I do.

    Hey,

Thanks for sharing this comic. It’s really nice. ROFL and can relate to most of the comics :)

    How’s the mid-term?

Agreed! I keep telling pruthvi to combine the strip with PP’s ramblings and publish an underground student handbook! Best legacy for future batches, IMHO :-)
