Tips Needed on Website Icon

website_icon
So does anyone know how I can add some cool custom icon on my website by doing some configuration thingamijigs ?
I’d initially planned to put a long, detailed post describing what I require, but then again, in a flash of inspiration, I realized that a picture is worth, in this case, a couple of hundred words at least.
If you find out, please leave a comment, and I’d be grateful.
KTHXBYE!
Update - thanks to twitter and Abesh, and PGK who mentioned that this icon is called a ‘favicon’, mischief managed.

    Put this in your Themes header.php file between the tags :

    change the href with the path of your image :D

    And yes Your Awesomeness,
    You are welcome :)

  2. PGK says:

    Shenoy – FYI, it’s not an icon, it’s called a Favicon.

  3. Hari says:

    @Abesh,
    Yo thanks for all the helps!

    @PGK,
    If you see firefox, I’ve got a super favicon. And this whole exercise has given me impetus to design a new one exclusively for my site.
