Signing up for arbit job sites and random places here periodic newsletters and emails are generated is one way for my inbox to display a daily semblance of activity.
Somehow, personal emailing frequency among my close friends has taken a downside due to orkut, facebook and most vitally gtalk which take care of staying in touch, but it still seems like a shame to have an inactive inbox.
The only downside of all these incessant mails is the accompanying phone calls that go – “Good morning Sir, we’re calling from XYZ consultancy – there is an opening in ABC firm in a particular domain, is this the right time to talk to you?”
Thank God incoming calls aren’t charged.
