The Mystery of the Missing Rubber-bands

I have recently had to purchase rubber-bands, the plastic ones, known among local shops as ‘disco rubber-bands’ (for some inexplicable reason), in order to tie my hair up. That is what one year of not having had a haircut does to you.

Now the thing is, I picked up a pack of twenty bands, and most of them continue to go missing on me. Just like the underpants gnomes, I had this funny dream about how the errant ants in my house were stealing rubber bands to have miniature launchers for small water balloons, because they can’t use the Queen ant’s bra for that purpose, because she doesn’t wear one.

Damn, that should’ve remained in my head only!
