The Bright Side of Defective Eyesight ?

I sometimes take photos on my digicam for my own cheap thrills. Nothing fancy emerges out of it, but some of the shots I have taken, after having run through picasa, tend to look really good, in my humble opinion.

Being acquainted with a few friends who are quite into photography in a very serious fashion, there are some nuances that I have grasped that I wasn’t previously aware of.

One of the things that I have discovered is the funda of time-lapse exposures wherein, the object in focus and in motion appears like a blur, and it is really cool specially if it is, for instance, a shot of a guitarist who is headbanging, whle keeping the rest of his body still. It is hard to imagine, but I hope someone can comment with an appropriate shot just to indicate what I am talking about.

While standing at the door of a moving train, trying to dry myself off for having been unwillingly caught in the torrential downpours that seem to have been characteristic of Bangalore over the past couple of weeks, I noticed a few bright objects in the distance.

Not having worn my glasses during that time, the object seemed like a blur by itself, and the the lack of focus towards the distant object made it look like a time-lapse shot by itself.

This observation can be made only with bright objects, but it looks really cool nevertheless.

There is a very faint bright side towards havine defective eyesight (or maybe I am just putting consolation prize fundaes).
