Nevertheless, my attempts at photography with my humble point and shoot camera were galvanized yet again over the past weekend when I had the opportunity to work on my friend Sudhanva‘s DSLR for some rock gigs that I was covering and he was shooting for RSJ.
In this arbit mood of photography, I noticed that my pal Kutty had a flickr pro account, and was wondering how our man would want to cough up money to the tune of INR 1000 per annum for an account as specified.
Turns out, as he told me later, that if you have a yahoo photos account, it is easier than you think. Yahoo photos is closing, and you can choose to where you’d like to migrate your pics to, and if you do it onto flickr, you get your old account updated to pro.
Yahoo!!! Now there is no looking back, I say!

Well, enjoy it while it lasts. The flickr pro account is valid only for three months. We are not as smart as we think we are, compared to the pro account dispensing people.
I stand humbled.
