Lost and Found

Lost my wallet at the Sunday Jam on 1st July. Found it on the same day again. This time, I have Dinesh (bassist of a new band named V Fly) and Gopal Navale, co-founder of the Freedom Jam movement in Bangalore to thank. Dinesh found the wallet, and Gopal kept it in safe-custody.

The title of this journal post somehow reminds me of a David Spade and Sophie Marceau movie, and I somehow can’t get that mental image of Sophie Marceau playing the cello in it. Oooh-la-la!

This is not the first time that I’ve recovered something I’ve lost, though this is defiitely the first time my wallet has put jai. I’ve got to be more careful henceforth.

Meeting up with Gopal on 2nd July to interview him for the RSJ article I was supposed to write on the Freedom Jam was, as a consequence of this little mishap, that much more interesting. A fun interview, with a lot of details being obtained, to make way for what I can mentally picture as quite an interesting article.

Read RSJ. Go on, knock yourselves out!
