Now, these ads have so severly been splashed all and sundry, that the first thing one thinks of while seeing the characteristic logo of Sony-Ericsson is Hrithik Roshan. Consquent branding of people with the said brand’s phones is but inevitable.
I was travelling, yet again, on some BMTC bus where a guy was seated on a double seat, and was obviously immersed in music, and oblivious to the fact that I needed space. I tapped him lightly on the shoulder and said “Oye Hrithik, please move!” and he heard me, and slid aside with a dirty look on his face.
Any poor sod/wooman with a Sony Ericsson phone can now be called ‘Hrithik’. Super cheap thrills.
